As a veteran ot the tirst world war, he is a member ot the American legion, and in World War ll headed the US.O. drive in this area. He was a charter member ol the Dundee Township Lions Club, was their tirst Secretary, is a Past President, and Past District Cabinet Secretary. tfle has been Secretary ol the Little Seven Conference many years, President ot the Conference, member ot the Northern lllinois Superintendents' Study Club, member ol the lllinois Association of School Administrators, and a member of the American Association ot School Administrators. He belongs to Phi Delta Kappa, national honorary educational fraternity. lle is a member ot First Methodist Church, Dundee, and has held many ot its offices ln i923 he married Punice Wolfe, a graduate ot Chia Wesleyan Univer- sity They have three children all ol whom have graduated trom Dundee lliah school --and tour grandchildren Rolland L. Moar, faculty member for 28 years, pre- senting corsage to Mrs. Iacobs, and Lord Elgin watch and band to Mr. Iacobs, at a banquet given by the District Teachers' Association to honor Mr. Iacobs for 31 years ot edu- cational leadership.
