SENIORS CF 1952 Back in September, l948, l32 freshmen invaded the corridors of Dundee High School with a clatter and a clang and soon proceeded to elect Pancho Morales, president, Lois Suchy, vice- president, Carol Berkley, secretary, and Kenneth Lange, treasurer. Our advisors were Miss Pergande, Mr. Green, Mr. Quinn, and Miss Bell. Our Sophomore year was a good year excluding football. We had a power house in basketball, Dale Rathjen was elected as president, with Ben lmhoff as vice-president, Norm Brettschneider as secretary, and lo Ann Melahn as treasurer, That year the student council decided to have a homecoming parade with a prize for the best float. We had the most con- sistent class, for we took second prize three years in a row. CEven though two years we should have had firstll As luniors, and with lim Frost as president, lerry Lange, vice-president, Bob Allen, secretaryp and loyce Schuhr as treasurer, we made school history, for we were the first class to have the junior-senior prom outside of school. That was also the year we showed our great dramatic talent in Mother Was A Freshman. ln this final year, of school life, we voted for George Dusold as president, Dale Zange, vice- president, Richard Bitt, secretary, and Ben lmhoff, treasurer. Our advisors were Miss Pergande, Miss Witmore, Mr. Gerald Green, and Mr. Hardy. For the third consecutive year, we took second place in the float contest at homecoming. Our Senior-lunior party and the Senior play, Stage Door by Kaufman and Ferber, were our last great projects. ln a few weeks, we will say farewell to D. C. H. S. and enter into a new adventure, l4
