'We found that it definitely takes more than students and teachers Much thanks and appreciation go to those members of the administration who have helped us outside of the classroom. Mrs. Huey's friendly smile brightened the reserved atmosphere of our library. Always ready with a good recommendation, she tried hard to get us to read in- teresting books and magazines. The financial support of the P.T.A. enabled us to acquire many things needed to make our school career more profitable and pleasant. Under the leader- ship of Mr. Robert hlones, president, the P.T.A. was one of the most active groups in school and com- munity life. Patience was the main virtue of Miss Delores Ying- ling and Miss XVanda Middleton. It was not easy for them to perform the different office duties required of good secretaries and answer the inquiries of every stu- dent who visited the office each day. Mrs. Finfera's cheerful disposition was the best cure for any ailment we ever had. However, in very serious cases, her training as a registered nurse proved to be invaluable. Every day Mrs. Doelfel was faced with a seemingly endless rush of hungry people. Those of us who ate in the cafeteria were always pleased with the variety of food she had so skillfully planned. l3
