You'd think that General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Physics would be enough tor anyone. However, this is not the case at Fletcher, where students turn out in the mornings and after- noons to take such extracurricular classes as Anatomy, Organic Chemistry, and Bacteriology. The students receive no credit tor taking these courses- all they gain is knowledge. DEP RTME T The Social Studies Department includes such intriguing subiects as Ge- ography, Civics, World History, American History, and Problems in Ameri- can Democracy. This year a new course was introduced - Humanities. Fletcher is fortunate to have this class in its curriculum as the course is only offered in a few Southern high schools. The history classes help the student to understand past problems while P.A.D. brings us up to date with a study of the main dilemmas in America today-Russia and the South. Civics and Geography offer important information on the eco- nomic-political situation of the world.
