DEP RTME T Some of Fletcher's ambitious freshmen are entering their first year of a language with high aims. This year, third year courses in both Latin and Spanish have been added to Fletcher's list. The students seem to be enioying their education. In fact, our third year Latin classes are using a book normally intended for fourth year students. The other third year class has become quite adept at conversational Spanish. The French classes have something new, too. The students have been perfecting their pronunciation by using tape-recorders with ear-phones. Perhaps the French exchange student who is coming to Fletcher next year has offered the classes some inspiration also. Next year they can practice their mastery of the French language on him.
