Kenney was favored by three touchdowns to win. Considering adverse conditions Fletcher played one of the best games of its season and lost by a margin of only 6 to 0. The succeeding week the Senators played in Ocala and were defeated by them 39 to 0. Against Live Oak, Fletcher fared a little better and scored twice, but the Live Oak team ran up a 21 point lead to set the last tally at 35 to 14. When the Senators played Palatka, it was the opposing team's homecoming game, and they really came through for the home crowd with a 58 to 0 score against Fletcher. This was Fletcher's first experience with defeat by Palatka. The Leesburg game didn't go quite so bad as the Fletcher ll was beaten only 27 to 14. The Fletcher Homecoming was against Mainland. The Senators were topped 20 to 7 although they outgained Mainland by 150 yards. The last game of the season was against Ketterlinus, which was hard fought up to the last few minutes. The final score saw Fletcher behind 12 to 6.
