Someone to help you find a book, tell you how to lo- cate your congressman's ad- dress, borrow a stencil from—that was Mrs. Van Gundy. In all these departments, probably the year's most exciting news was the lib- rary carpet, easy to walk on and pleasant to look at, its tierra rust color harmonizing with the yellow walls and the blue or gold window coverings.
