The answers to this and other questions were the re- sponsibility of the administration of Duncan High School. The furnace problem was solved when Duncan D i s tr ic t 20 appealed to the Greenlee County Superintendent of schools and board of supervisors for permission to exceed the 1968-1969 school budget in order to replace the high school's steam heat system with a gas furnace and forced air heating for first floor and room heaters for the upstairs.
