While there they visited 'the Re- public I ress and watched the printing of the Phoenix pa| er. Many other points of interest were also visited. Each member of the class ordered a class pin from the Star Engraving Company. I he sterling silver pins had an eagle crest set on blue onyx and mounted with the letter “D” under which was engraved the word Journalism.” Attached to the pin was a guard pin with the numerals ”39.” The class paid extra fo- a special die so that in years to come other journalism classes can purchase sinj.U pins.
