A comedy in three acts, You Cari't Take It With You, was presented May 4th and 5th by the Drama Department, under the direction of Denise Hines, drama, speech, and freshmen English teacher. The story revolves around a semi-well off, and semi-crazy family who believe in only having fun. Their unreasonable ways interfere with their daughter, Alice, and her boyfriend's struggle to wed. Th Christmas Cradle The Christmas play was presented by the Drama Department In the play a young teenage girl named Magdela has a child whose father Heinrick takes the baby to a convent and leaves him with nuns. Magdela is shunned and os tracized by the village people because she has no husband. Nevertheless the priest chooses Magdela s house as the most worthy and finally her child is returned. The lead role was shared by senior, Cyndy McGarr: and sopho more, Stacey Coe. Acting as the cruel father, Heinrick, was Russell High, sen A happy reunion is provided by the return of Magdela s baby.
