Senior Class Story We re magnsfscent we re dsvsne We re the sensors of fsfty nsne' Thsrty three months ago when the sensor class lknown as peons thenl stepped into the unknown world of DHS they elected as thesr class officers Larry Edwards president Gerald Jeter vsce president Lsnda Gates secretary treasurer and Judy Lacy reporter Those were the days' They were introduced to the Den Hobbs trsp and the first Twsrp Week And the sophomore pscnsc was postponed because of rasn As the years went by the peons grew snto adulthood and became the sensors of 1959 CII hasnt been so long has st'7J The sophomore class offscers wsth Joe Bob Brown as reporter were chosen to serve a second term thss time as sensor class offscers at Christmas for the parade thesr victory over the lunsor gsrls sn the Powder Puff game Hobo Day and the Moonlight and Roses at the Junsor Sensor prom Queens queens and more queens' Susse Kubsck was crowned football queen Ansta Grsggs basketball queen and Msms Howard annual queen There were ksngs too Geral Rogers was annual ksng and Gerald Jeter was Powder Puff ksng Other honors were awarded the sensor class Gene Whatley was chosen as All State Guard and Nancy Romsne won a trsp to the Natsonal Scsence Fasr at Hartford Conn Then came the sensors week lt rasned agasn for the class pscnsc but that dsdnt delay the trsp to Turner Falls QHow was the water Msss Keck'?D May 28th was the hsghlsght of the sensor year The sensors each recesved a dsploma and parted but all chersshed the memorses of a sensor year srs DHS ,, , . . , . . , , . . n . ,, ' - ' ll H , , ' 2 , ' - ' i ' , - , .
