The members of the Student Council are chosen by fellow students because of the leadership qualities that they possess. To be a leader. one must be able to follow. Student Council 100 representatives possess an excellent record in citizenship and rank average academically. They think creatively enough to contribute to the improvement of the school. dedicated to making it one that will not be so quickly forgotten when its remains have demolished with age. Vinson K! The members of the National Honor Soc.iety are selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. The National Honor Society requires its members and candidates to rank scholastically on an 8557? minimum or its equivalent. They must also take a constructive lead in classroom, homeroom, and school activities. Putting service to others above self-interest is definitely a characteristic of an Honor Society member. One must meet promptly individual pledges and responsibilities to the school and teachers by demonstrating high standards of honesty, reliability, and fairness. 101
