I I PATRICIA LORRAINE ABEL Besides holding the position as Parliamentarian of the Student Council and President of the Senior Class, “Tri- cia” is also an active member of the Choir, the F.B.L.A. and the Safety Patrol. Her outside interests include sing¬ ing and playing the piano. She would like to enter the field of business. DAVID RAY ALLISON David’s main interest has been in the F.F.A.; he has also been a member of the basketball team, track team. Math Club, D.E.C.A., Safety Patrol and the yearbook staff. Because of “Cricket’s” strong interest in technology, he has decided to take training in the field of x-ray technol¬ ogy. EDWARD ALLISON In addition to serving as a D.E.C.A. and F.F.A. officer, Edward has been a member of the track team. In his junior year he was a school bus driver and class officer as well as being a member of the Dramatics Club. Edward is known to his friends as “Eddie”. His hobbies include dancing, collecting records and reading. He is interested in becoming an electrical engineer. DORIS JEAN ANDERSON Besides being an F.B.L.A. leader, Doris has also been an active cheerleader, a playmaker, and a member of the Safety Patrol. She also likes dancing, cooking, and sports. Her ambition is to take a course in business and become a secretary. EDWARD LEWIS ARCHIE “Gray Hair Fox”, during his four years in high school, was a member of the F.F.A. and also participated on the t rack team. His hobby is playing basketball. He plans to enter the Army after graduation. HAZEL LOUISE ARCHIE Hazel has actively supported the French Club, F.H.A., and Dramatics Club. In her junior year she served as a junior marshal. In her spare time she enjoys reading, sew¬ ing and bowling. Her ambition is to become a registered nurse. 1

RUBY ARCHIE Besides being an active member of the French Club, Dra¬ matics Club, F.H.A., F.B.L.A., Math Club and Safety Patrol Club, “Candy” also participates in Project Upward Bound, a program for college bound students. She is the corresponding secretary for the annual staff. Her ambi¬ tion is to become an elementary school teacher. LYNDA GALE BANKS Lynda, better known as “Banks”, participates in the D.E.C.A. Club, Cheering Squad, Dramatics Club, F.H.A., and F.B.L.A. Club. Her ambition is to become a general office clerk. LARRY BEATTY Larry, better known as “Rock”, is an active member of the D.E.C.A. and F.F.A. Clubs. His ambition is to some¬ day become the proprietor of a business. BARBARA JOYCE BLACKWELL “Jois”, Secretary of the Safety Patrol Club was initiated into the Future Business Leaders of America and Future Homemakers of America Clubs this year. She also partic¬ ipates in the Band and Dramatics Club. Her pastimes are dancing and cooking. Her ambition is to become a cos¬ metologist. ROBERT LARRY BLAIR Displaying school spirit, Robert aids the track team as manager and actively serves in the F.F.A. Club. He en¬ joys such sports as football, baseball and basketball, with exxraordinary skills in the game of billiards. He like s to be called “Blair”. His ambition is to become a painter. BETTY JANE BOLT Betty, is a representative to the Student Council, a mem¬ ber of the Dramatics, Safety Patrol, F.H.A., Math, and F.B.L.A. Clubs. She also serves in a member of the Choir, Band, and the Bar Staff. Besides holding class and club offices during her high school years, she is also an honor student. This year she was named Betty Crocker Home¬ maker of Tomorrow. Her ambition is to become an IBM keypunch operator. She is better known to her friends as “Red” 20
