INDUSTRIAL ARTS Mr. Lancaster, chairman of the Industrial Art Department, works along with his senior boys instilling within them the im- portance of educating the hands as well as the mind. Properly trained craftsmen are always in demand. These fellows seem to be taking their work seriously. MATHEMATICS l2A4, under the leadership of Mr. Leroy Taylor, is going all out to get this ad- vanced form of mathematics. Noting the facial expressions, I would judge that this problem is no cinch, but everyone is de- termined to conquer it. That type of per- severance carries over into actual life problems. CLOTHING The needle work of these senior girls is something to see and admire. Mrs. Park- er, their instructor, is proud of the ac- complishments of these ladies. Practical coordination of mind and body helps to prepare these students to become the type of citizen the community desires.

Here we IIOIC serious preparation in action. MUSIC The music period provides many relaxing and enjoyable moments for most of the students. Through a knowledge of the background of many types of music, a deeper appreciation and understanding of all mankind is attained. BUSINESS l2Al is really taking this work seriously. Following the directions of Mrs. Brown, their instructor, these young students will soon enter the outside world prepared to render desirable service.
