Harper The Dean ,if Boys at Dunbar endeavors to assist boys with their problems regardless of the nature. Casesinvolving dis- cipline and social guidance, de- linquency and attendance are viewed in the light of accepted guidance principles and prac- tices. Duties of serving as advisor to Senior Boys were added to the office this school year. All of the organized guidance ser- vices except administering te sts are directed to Grade 12 boys. This includes supplementing the eff0I tS of homeroom teachers,. classroom teachers and parents in aiding Senior boys to make a satisfactory adjustment in the school program. Mr. Harper is a product of the University of Denver. DEAN OF GIRLS Mrs. A.B. Perry The Dean of Girls handles cases of discipline, and social guidance for girls. She counsels girls on personal problems, andcooperates with the Dean of Boys, and Counse- lor, in coordinating the school life of boys and girls at Dunbar, Mrs. Perry's Undergraduate and Graduate work was done at Fisk University and the University of Chicago. OUR CCUNSELORS ata Mrs. Gravelly is well known for her efficient work in the field of Guidance and Counseling at Dunbar Her office's facilities have been offered generously to faculty and students alike, whenever there is a desire or needfor the services. She is Director of Guidance at Dunbar, and State Organizer of Student Councils. Her College training includes work at Wilberforce, Fisk and Atlanta Universities. MRS. P. M. PARR Counselor for 7th Graders Mrs. Parr is serving herfirst year as Counse- lor for all 7th Graders. She studied at Bishop Col- legeg University of Wis- consin in the field of work.
