'1. 4 1 Q J s x s 0' 1 K I K- kgs do- A Star Is Born pw Ba bara M rily Bob Clara Lind M y Lou B h All n Ka e n e I5 oe NATIONAL STUDIOS Wa te rloo Iowa Class History Nearly twelve years ago a small part of the present senior class started first grade in these halls of learning In this little flock were Buelah DeVore Sharon Hartgraves Barbara Siems James Pfaltzgraff Ronald Wendt Marilyn Weichers James Akin and Clara Neuhaus and Larry Boots who joined us during the second semester Beryl Lindaman joined us in the third grade Larry Boots came back in the sixth grade after having left us in the second grade Allan Popinga came to us from a country school in the seventh grade and David Mitchell moved here from Morley, and Bob Pencook came here from Aredale during the eight grade When Karen Hawe and Maxine Brernner from Aredale, Mary Lou Meinders and Joe Johnson from a country school, and Linda Lloyd from Fort Dodgejoined us in the ninth grade, the present flock was complete. Other classmates we have had are Ross Blohm, Larry l-lovenga, Gary Folkers, Donald Miller, LaVern Kuper, Alice Reysack, Beverly Rank, Barbara Taylor, Ernie Groseclose, Sara Rinnels, Howard Schaefer, Tom Homer, Donald Wubbena, Grace Reysack, Robert Ayers, and Mary Dhamer. Our grade teachers were Mrs. Shreve QMiss Knutsonj, first grade: Mrs. Poppen, second grade, Mrs, Allen, third grade: Miss Albers, fourth grade, Mrs. Raisch, fifth grade, Mrs, Coulter, Mrs. Jesperson fMiss Browerl, Mrs. Bigler, Mrs. Harlan, sixth grade: Mrs. Jesperson, seventh grade, and Mrs. Harlan, eight grade. Throughout our high school years we have been a close little group, and even though we are few in number, we expect to add to our knowledge, understanding, and responsibility and thus contribute greatly to society.
