Upon being informed by Ed that Ercil McWilliams, who Clellan also told us that she had recently heard from Sylvia Silver who now re sides in Tennessee We went out to see her She has become a very good yodeler and singer on the 'Grand Ole Opry We leave the Grand Ole Opry House to go to Texas to visit a ranch owned by Derald Lindaman and to visit his wife also the former Marlys Henning By the way 1t's a chicken ranch instead of a cattle ranch While at the Lindaman ranch we read in the newspaper about the Margery Bents' Lonely Hearts Club in Amarillo Texas When we went to see her she said that as yet she has had no luck and is still lonely It was also advertised in the newspaper that Gail Schaefer owned the world s larg est donkey ranch in Mexico When we visited her she told us she spent much of her time riding her favorite donkey a descendent of Mr B1g1er's donkey From Mexico we Journey to Australia to congratulate Bob Kramer on teaching a kangaroo how to walk on all fours We fly to Hawaii and were very surprised to see Doris Wildeboer She has become one of the world s best hula dancers We go to the co st so we may see B111 Borneman who is the assistant coach to John Wood B111 xs teaching a team of monkeys the fundamentals of football B111 tells us that Mrs Jack Richards the former Beverly White 15 to take a screen test tomorrow for a part in the movie Leg was heading from Russia and had completed the task of making Stalin a good Democrat After leaving B111 we headed for Alaska to see Robert Gerdes who is playing halfback for the Anchorage Lions He and his wife the former Marjorie Kreins who has just finished making the movie Lady Be Good reside in Kansas City during the off season From Alaska we journeyed into Wyoming where we meet Alice Davis riding a bicycle and trying to sell flea powder Alice said that she had come through South Dakota where she had seen Shirley Futler, who owns a thousand acre wheat farm Alice said she had treated Shirley s wheat with the flea powder From Wyoming we traveled back to good old Iowa where we meet Orville Maifeld in Ke sley He tells us that he is building a building twice as high as the Empire State Building He's going to name it the La Donna Memorial We finally get back to Dumont and we see Mrs Gene Miller formerly Dora Mae Homer She is sweeping the streets in Dumont trying to support her husband and twelve children We now have to go to the Dye's Garage to get it filled with atomic pills again it will be ready for the next trip 17 . . . , - I .
