Upon completing a tour aboard the USS PAUL REVERE CLPA 2483 as Boat Engineering Division Officer and Assistant Boat Group Commander, he served as Officer in Charge of a PCF tPatrol Craft Fast3 for one year in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V. A In 1970, Captain McKinley retumed to active duty after three years of civilian life, graduating from the Naval Destroyer School in 1971. He served on the USS RUPERTUS QDD 8513 as Weapons Officer, where he was awarded a Gold Star in lieu of a second Navy Commendation Medal for duties performed in that assignment. In 1975, Captain McKinley reported the Fleet Combat Training Center where he directed Weapons Systems and Combat Systems Training courses. Retuming to shipboard duty in 1976, Captain McKinley was assigned to the USS TARAWA CLHA 13, where he served as the Combat Information Center and Operations Officer. Upon completing this tour, he served as Executive Officer on the USS FREDERICK QLST 11843. In 1981, Captain McKinley reported to the Commander, Navel Sea Systems Command, where he served on the Surface Ships Directorate as the Executive Assistant the Assistant Deputy for Logistics. He was awarded a Gold Star in lieu of a third Navy Commendation Medal. After graduating from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in June of 1984, Captain McKinley assumed duties as Commanding Officer of the USS FRESNO CLST 11823 from October 1984 through December 1986. During his command tour Captain McKinley led FRESNO through two extended Westem Pacific deployments and was awarded the Meritorious Dervice Medal. Captain McKinley is married to the former Kathleen Roberts of San Diego, Califomia and they have two daughters, Kelly and Jennifer I

JEFFREY BART HGLOIVIEW CRANE LIEUTENANT COMMANDER, U.S. NAVY EXECUTIVE GEFICER, USS DULUTH LPD 6 LCDR Crane graduated from Villanova University in 1977 and was commissioned through the NROTC Program. Upon completion of Surface Warfare Officer School in Coronado, California he was assigned to the USS DURHAM CLKA 1143 as Combat Information Center Officer and completed tours as Electronic Material Officer and Boat Group Commander from May 1978 through June 1981. In November 1981 he was assigned to USS CIMARRON QAO 177 J as Main Propulsion Assistant until July 19815. ln 1985 LCDR Crane reported to the Naval Amphibious School Coronado, Califomia where he was an Amphibious Operations Instructor. Also, during this time he received his Master of Business Administration degree from National University in June 1985. Returning to shipboard duty in 1986, LCDR Crane was assigned to the USS FANNING QFF 10765, where he sewed as the Chief Engineer until March 1988. Upon completing this tour, he was assigned as a Steam Inspector for the Pacific Propulsion Examining Board. LCDR Crane is presently married to the former Diane Brousseau of Plainville, Connecticut.
