Mamie joined us in the fall of ,27 from the Univer- sity of South Carolina, and since that day she has proven herself a very diligent student. Her quiet, modest manners appeal to all. She has self-assurance in attacking any problem, and has self-confidence based on her success in certain directions. It was hard for our Freshmen this year to under- stand how such an adorable little thing as Susieu could be a Senior. Although she has not the look of a Senior, Susie has every other qualification.
