' t A OI Division is comprised of Operations Specialists who man the various radar watch L C stations in the Combat Information Center. 1 In this challenging rate, men are charged with the operation of radar, navigation and communication equipment in CIC as well as the detection and tracking of all air and surface contacts. This information is processed, evaluated and disseminated to the K cognizant areas of the ship. During this deployment, Dubuque was very active in the area of Amphibious War- fare, and acted as Primary Control Ship for numerous amphibious assaults.
