I ' ' M!N I0 Although the Personnelmen and Postal Clerk are the highly visible members of X Division, there are a wide variety of ratings which provide the crew with many person- al services, such as: Yeomans have the duties of holding down the Captain's Office, which, while out of sight, they handle the ship's official mail, provide us with the Plan of the Day, every day, and take care of the shipboard legal matters. They also function as the officer's equivelant of the Personnel Office. Lithographers duties consist of running the ship's print shop which prints nearly all of the ship's reproduced material - much of it in a hurry and after hours. The ship's Journalist runs the shipboard television and radio stations, KDBQ, and keeps the crew informed of what's going on in the news around the world. The Personnelmen are responsible for all transfers, seperations, advancements and an assortment of other services to the enlisted community. They also serve as a counseling and information center for the crew. And of course the Postal Clerk, who provides us with the always awaited letters from home in addition to all the services of a civilian post office.
