LT R. F. Moles Want a coke? S-l Division sold 218,343 of them during Westljac 69-70. How about the pay you so richly deserve twice every month? DUBUQUETS disbursing clerks paid out 31,l2l,426.96, give or take a few pennies, to the crew, embarked Marines, and in one case, the crew of a nuclear submarine a long way from home. How many 12505 did you fill out this cruise? S-1 processed 4693 of them. 3 The Disbursing Clerks, Storekeepers, and Ship's Service men of S-1 Division keep DUBUQUE paid, supplied, and serviced. From paychecks to the laundry, to the barber shop, from the ship's stores and snack bar to the coke machines and stock rooms, they are in business to keep DUBUQUE happy and well cared for, and nobody does it better. Even with the additional requirements of embarked staff and Marines, S-1 always got the job done on time, if not before. No matter how big the load or how long the hours, S-1 showed its professionalism as a vital element of a smooth running DUBUQUE. 9
