These seniors were elected class ofricers: Gretchen Gantert, secrelaryg Sandra Hammerand, secretary: Bill Posey, president: Tom Buettell, vice-president: Shirley Corell, treasurer. El After something is taken from us, we become aware of the great influence it had on our lives. School has molded our personalities and character, prepared us for jobs, and taught us how to enjoy ourselves. Who can forget the excitement of our last Homecoming? The secret planning of our potential prizewinning float, the anticipation 'til one of our classmates was named Homecom- ing Queen and the big game will remain stamped on our memory. Before we realized, the Variety Show was history and we were working feverishly to meet our Echo and News deadlines. Sandwiched between homework, jobs and club meet- ings were games, school plays, contests and concerts. Can you remember the unusual quiet when the names of the newly elected members of the National Honor Society and Quill and Scroll were announced? While being measured for our cap and gown, many of us wondered if we had chosen the right job or college. But never shedding the prestige of being a senior, we planned our ban- quet, polished up our parts in the clas play and enjoyed ourselves at the Prom. Signing their last Echo are Duane Christopherson, Anna Cooley, Jane C-ronau, Ruth Brockert and Bruce Schwaegler. page tzeclzf
