Class ol l95l4 Some years ago we started our climb up Education Hill. At that time the year l95-l seemed a long way off: but here it is. and here we are-fthe class of 195-l. For most of us seniors this has been a year ol' mixed emotions. We felt proud to be the seniors of the school, and we enjoyed the activities reserved for seniors. Still. as we studied and planned for our future. we began to wonder what life would be like alter we lett Senior High, ln the fall we eagerly turned our attention to our new courses, football. Homecoming. and the picture which would do us justice in the i'l:cho,' Seniors were soon shouldering 'iNews statl' and Echo jobs. During the winter we followed the basketball team: and, along with studying, we began to think about a future job or to look for the college which would suit our needs. We chose our calling cards and ordered graduation announcements. Then the day came when we were measured so that our graduation gowns wouldnt trip us as we reached for our diplom- as or the mortar board slide over one eye. XVill we ever forget the thrill of anticipation as we waited to hear whether our names would be called as new members of the National Honor Society or Quill and Scroll? XVith spring came the music contests and festival. spring sport. and the Junior-Senior Prom. Formals marked the Prom with glamor and gave us the sophistication of young so- cialites. Cases of pre-graduation dithers became more numerous and acute as the calendar brought us close to Baccalaureate and Commencement.
