money by selling magazines under the Curtis Plan We were able to sell over tooo worth of magazines The leading salesman was Eugene Coble Our class play was entitled 'Grandad Steps Out' and was directed by Mr Kreltzer On April 25 the Junior Class, under the sponsorship of Miss Seng, were hosts at the Junior Senior Banquet and Prom Louise Hem erlein was again selected as yell leader and the basketball queen attendants were Marilyn Hall and Lillian Pieper We ushered ln our senior year without change in personnel The only changes in the faculty were that Mrs Ellis replaced Miss Seng and Marilyn Walker was added as music instructor Our sponsor was Mr Zehr who directed our Senior Class Play entitled UGrandad Meets A Palu Melvin Lelstner and Elta Breitwieser were elected as editors of the yearbook, The Echo Helen Heeke was elected as editor of the schoolpaper Marilyn Hall was elected as the basketball queen and her senior attendants were Helen Heeke and Imogene Voelkel Louise Hemmerlein was elected to represent Dubois High School at the Holiday Festival at Huntingburg Elta Breltwleeer was selected by the Junior class as the Prom Queen Louise Hemmerlein was selected as yell leader for the fourth consecutive year After a busy year, filled with numerous pleasures and considerable hard work, our stay in Dubois High School came to a final conclusion with the Baccalaureate Services on April 22 and the Commencement later that week We now said Adieu to a grand school, s fine student body and a truly great faculty.
