CLASS HISTORY On September 2, 1946, twenty-seven anxious but green Freshmen wonder- ed into the hells of Dubois High School, to acquaint themselves with the world about them. Our faculty consisted of: Mr. Beeks, Princioalg Mr. Jackson, Math: Joe Rowekamp, History. ' it x ' As everything was new to us, we were scared and ever for,ot to elect class officers. The Freshmen Class consisted of: Gene Bauer Mary Lee Nordroii Orlan Bauer George Onel James Bray Richard Pieoer Pauline Gehlhausen Tony Piewer Bernard Gilson Claude Seger Jack Goodman Norma Sendelweck Luella Hacker Richard Stnmm Alfred Hemmerleln Dorothy Mae Teder Anna Humbert Gabriel Thiesing Lille Humbert Mary Florence Ward Rudy Huebner Walter Wendel Gladys Matheis Glenn Ziegler Catherine Mehringer Joe Ziegler Barbara Jean Nigy During the year we lost one member, James Bray. Our queen utLendant8 were: Catherine Mehringer and Mary Lee Nordhofi. Our first high school social gsthering was an initiation oarty viven to us by the Soohomores on October 26. In the fall of 47' we hurried to the Soohomore room and found LMC members had droooed out. They were: Alfred Hemmerlein and Luella Hacker. Helen Bachman end Ralnh Schroeder joined the class. Class officers were: President: Helen Bacnman Vice President: Gene Bauer Secretary: Dorothy Mae Teder Treasurer: Mary Lee Nordhoff Queen attendants were Mary Lee Nordnoff and Heier Bucnman. Faculty changes were: Mrs. Schiller replaced Mr. Jackson and Ur. Kreit-er was added. On Sentember ZS, we entertained the Freshmen v'th an initiation nert Our class -jeneor :as Mr. Kreitzer. After a four month vacation, we resorted back for our third ye:r of High School. Catherine Mehringer and Mary Florence Ward did not return. Anna Marie Schurig and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin McGutcheon were the new :aculty members. Class officers were: President: Norma Sendelweck Vice President: Gene Bauer Secretary: Barbara Jean Nigg Treasurer: Richard Pieoer Our class snonsor was Anna earie Schurig.
