Our class sponsor was Mr Rowekamp Queen attendants were Wzlma Hall and Dorls Ann Schroer1ng The three new teachers were joe Rowekamp Ralph Seger and Mrs Luther Lehr Mlss McKanna was not back w1th us that year We 1n1t1ated the Freshmen m the earl1er part of the school year We returned agaln the next year m1nus three members They were Betty Meyer juamta Popp and Herbert Welp Class Offmcers were Presldent George Neukam Vxce Preszdent Vzctor Teder Secretary Geraldme Strotrnan Treasurer Dallas Frxedman Our class sponsor was Mrs Schxller Our queen attendants were jane Math1es and Wxlma Hall On Aprxl 15 we were host to a jumor Senlor Banquet Mr jackson went to teach at Blrdseye I-hgh School and Mr Rowekamp went to jasper Hlgh School Two new teachers were Mrs Schxller and Mr Kremtzer Once agam on September l 1948 we came back to complete our fourth and f1na1 year of hxgh school Three of our classmates did not return to graduate w1th us They were Mary Ann Ban' Doris Ann Schroermg and Dallas Frmedman joe We1kert from Cuzco became a new member of our class We lost two faculty members They were Mrs Zehr the Home Econom1cs teacher and Mr Beeks Pr1nc1pa1 The three new teachers were Mr McCutcheon Mrs McCutcheon and Miss Shur1g Class Officers were Pres1dent George Neukam Vxce Presxdent Delbert Meyer Secretary joe We1kert Treasurer Paul Baer We pubhshed our school paper the jeep Echo jane Matlmzes was the Edltor Our class sponsor was Mr Z.ehr The queen chosen from our class was Wllma Hall Her attendants from the class were Wzlda Mae Gehlhausen and Iona Neukam The class motto was Onward 49ers Our class colors were kelly green and wh1te The class flower was whzte carnatxon Laverne Frledman was cheerleader for the Basketball Team for the year 1948 49 8 . .
