CLASS HISTORY fContinuedQ On September Z0, we entertained the Freshmen with an Initiation party. After a vacation, we reported back for our third year of High School. Our class officers were- President Mary Ann Hoffman Vice-President Edgar Joe Munch Secretary Lois Jean Matheis Treasurer Jeannine Huebner On April 13, our class went on an outing to Spring Mill Park. On April 15, we were hosts to a Junior-Senior Banquet. Our class sponsor was Mr. Jackson. Queen attendants were Lois Jean Matheis and Jeannine Huebner. Cheerleader, Lois Jean Matheis. We sponsored a pie social. The proceeds went into a fund to buy a movie projector for the school. We gained three new faculty members: Mr. Seger, Commerce, Mrs. L. Zehr, Home Ec.: and Mr. Rowekamp, Social Studies. We lost Miss McKanna. On September 3, we came back to complete our fourth and last year of high school. Two members cou1dn't finish their last year. They were Mary Lee Matheis and Arthur Kempf. We gained two new faculty members: Mrs. Schiller, Math.: and Mr. Kreitzer, Social Studies, replacing Mr. Jackson and Mr. Rowekarnp. Laura Nolan was the Editor. Our class sponsor was Mr. Zehr. The Queen chosen from our class was Jeannine Huebner. Her attendants from the Senior class were Mary Ann Hoffman and Lois Jean Matheis. The motto chosen by the class is In Ourselves Our Future Lies. Our class colors are light green and pink. Class flower, White Rose. Cheerleaders from our class were Lois Jean Matheis and Mary Ann Hoffman. In April, we gave a play entitled, Fuller's Fortune. After our commencement exercises, on April 27, we will have to leave Dubois High School, but its memories will linger with us always.

CLASS WILL We, the graduating class of 1948, of Dubois High School, County of Dubois, and State of Indiana, being of seemingly sound mind and memory, do hereby will and bequeath in this our first will and testament certain of our assets to the parties mentioned. I, Thomas Bachman, will my height and mischievousness to Emil Furhman. I, Gloria Basch, will my excess boy friends and love for the teachers to Mary Jane Baer. I, Helen Brosmer, will my love for the trips, both to and from the basketball games to Wilma Hall. I, Aaron Campbell, will my dark good looks, and my bottle of Wildroot Creme Oil to George Opel. I, Doris Destival, will my giggling spells and my love for candy to Delbert Myer. I, Eugene Goodman, will my sock cap and freckles to Robert Braun. I, Hilda Heeke, will my love for dancing at the Schnitzelbank to Alois Pieper. I, Mary Ann Hoffman, will my musical ability and interest in the basketball team of rival schools to Mary Ann Bair. I, Allen Huebner, will my Rollscanhardly car to Frederick Patcheak. I, Jeannine Huebner, will my popularity and bright remarks to Dorothy Mae Teder. I, Sylvester Kempf, will my courtesy and quietness to Ralph Schroeder. I, Lois Jean Matheis, will my fondness for Fords and men with mustaches to Barbara Jean Nigg. I, Edgar Joe Munch, will my devilishness and love for showing off to Richard Pieper. I, Laura Nolan, will my Editorship and big feet to whoever is unlucky enough to inherit them. I, Robert Lee Schott, will my ability to upset class meetings and love for scrapping to Alva Listner. I, Robert Seitz, will my mathematical ability and words that have even Webster himself confused to George Neukam.
