Studerit Cotmd Student Council's service project involved the restoration of the football bleachers. The bleachers were hand scraped and sanded. A coat of primer was applied. Chad Bottcher deserves special recognition for his limitless energy in sanding and painting. The Council plans to apply another coat of paint in the fall of '88. The officers along with Scott Nish- witz and Brad Jaeckel. attended the Wyoming Association of Stu- dent Councils convention in Ther- mopolis. The delegation stayed at the Big Horn Basin Children's Home because of lack of motel space in Thermop. The students were commended for their ex- emplary behavior during the con- vention. Other activities sponsored by the Student Council included Home- coming and Spirit week events as well as supplying the school Christmas tree. Members also were hosts during parent-teach- er conferences and held a Slave Sale to raise funds in the spring. 26
