TouioVtou) l Ltodwi 1. Steen Finley was selected to attend the Hugh O'Brian Leadership Seminar where he met with business and politi- cal leaders from Wyoming. Steen was also honored as the first Dubois-awarded Eagle Scout during a Court of Honor early in the year 2 Stacey Oard receives congratulations from Mr. Bryant. Principal, for being chosen as the DHS delegate to the University of Wyoming Summer Institute. Eighty outstanding sophomores from Wyoming High Schools pursue a wide range of subjects during the 3-week stay on campus in June. 3. Connie Kurasz was offered the opportunity to return to Girls' State in June 1988 to be a Junior Counselor. She will learn about the government at all levels. 4. Boys' State delegates are Scott Nishwitz. Andy Carter and Tom Hinerman. Alan Pittsley was alternate. The event will bring an understanding and knowledge of how their gov- ernment functions 22

1. Brad Jaeckel accepts a track award from Coach Mees. 2. A top English student certificate was presented to Chris Schaefer by Ms. Flanagan. 3. Alan Pittsley earned a top art award in addition to a certificate of achievement from Ms. Westbrook. 4. Mr. Nusbaum happily awarded Connie Kurasz the plaque for Top Band Student. 5. Good job.
