Mrs. Cook’s quilt was of multi-color patchwork on blue. Both quilts con- tained white patches done by people and classes in the school. Thank You To Miss Florence Morse Mrs. Vera Cook For fifty-four years — twenty-seven years each — Miss Florence Morse and Mrs. Vera Cook have taught school, educating and preparing young students for the roles they were to assume in a future society. The 1974-75 school year witnessed the retirement of Miss Morse and Mrs. Cook. Students, faculty, staff and com- munity members joined together to thank these ladies by presenting a community carry-in dinner in their honor and making for each of them a patchwork quilt with each class decorating a patch. At the dinner, Miss Morse and Mrs. Cook were presented with several handsome gifts. Since the traditional idea of an annual dedication is out- moded, the Annual Staff opted a “Thank You” page in- stead. So, to Miss Florence Morse and Mrs. Vera Cook, we offer a big. heartfelt thank you for a job well done. We ap- preciate your dedication. Miss Morse’s quilt was of multi-color patchwork on pink. r 2

The board makes, defines and enforces the policy which operates the district. The members have charge of teacher and administrator selection and ter- mination, all money matters, school building concerns, insurance for building and transportation facilities, care and maintenance of facilities, public relations and many other functions. This year’s school board worked hard—it spent many long hours, giving their time freely so that our school will be a more perfect place in which to learn. a
