SENIOR CLASS HISTORY As we look back over the last four years we remember most of the good times we have had. We began our journey through High School with 14 members in the Fresh- man class. They were: Mike Galbos, Pat Sundstrum, Leslie Shoemaker, Marilyn Mosher, Butch Stagner, Dale Rhodes, La Vera Hawk, Wayne Nipwater, Ernie Har- per, Chuck Boedeker, Jack Peterson, Joan Titterington, Frank Woodward, and Valorena Tassitsie. Later we lost Wayne Nipwater and gained Yvonne Skinner. The class officers for the first year were: President, Ernie Harper; Vice-President, Leslie Shoemaker; Secretary, Pat Sundstrum; and Treasurer, Marilyn Mosher. Mike Galbos and Chuck Boedeker were Student Council Representatives. Three Boys made the first 10 on the basketball team: They were Mike Galbos, Wayne Nipwater and Butch Stagner. Leslie S. was chosen Homecoming Queen. Our advisor was Mr. Pew. The second year began with the 12 origional members plus Sally Black. Later we were joined by Elaine Morehouse and Eleanor Burmeister. Four of the Sophomore boys made the team that year, Mike, Butch, Chuck, and Ernie. Mike and Butch made the first string, the former making the all-tourney team and the latter win- ning the free throw trophy. Officers for that year were President, Leslie Shoemaker; Vice-President, Sally Black; Secretary, Marilyn Mosher; and Treasurer, Valorena Tassitsie. Mike Galbos and Butch Stagner were Student Council Representatives. We gave a costume party for the Student Body and enjoyed a class picnic at the Geyser. Our advisor was Mr. Sannes. Our Junior year started with 12 members. Later we lost Elaine Morehouse and Butch Stagner and gained Sheriy Powell. Class officers were: President, Leslie; Vice-President, Ernie; and Sally, Secretary-Treasurer. We had one penny in the treasury so we had to get to work to raise money for the Junior-Senior Prom, which we did by selling candy. The theme for our Prom was Neptune's Gardens. Sally was chosen Prom Queen and Leslie and Pat were attendants. We also starred in the play Boltsand Nuts. To close the year we went to Thermopolis for a day. Our ad- visor was Mrs. Latta. The Senior Year started out with five members, with Sally dropping early in the year and Marilyn returning to graduate with us. Our class officers were President, Chuck Boedeker; Vice-President, Leslie; and Ernie, Secretary-Treasurer. Chuck and Ernie finished their last year at D.H.S. on the first five. We had our play, Here Comes Charlie, with the Juniors. Leslie, Chuck, and Ernie all had leading parts. We also attended the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. The boys were special quests at the basketball banquet put on for the players by the Lions Club. Leslie was Valedictorian and Ernie, Salutatorian. This Page Sponosred By P.T.A.

PROPHECY Fifteen years have passed since the Seniors have I eft the halls of As Father Time gazes into his time machine he sees: Admiral Ernesf Harper, who is in charge of the Trans-Oceanic Space Maneuvers, kissing his wife and five little admirals farewell, as he is about to blast off in his Bell X-l7 Space Rocket. He is on his, wayljo.a lass reunion at D.H.S. Ernie now spends his spare time drawing quaint figures on the blackboard at Navy Headquarters Chuck Boedeker is trying to support a wife and four kids on a teacher's salary at D.H.S. He spends his spare time trying to UN- launch spit-wad satellites from the ceiling. He is getting the school ready for the reunion, and studying rockets in hopes that he can go to Mars. Marilyn Barham is still living at Grandma Stalnaker's and driving the old blue and white chevie, with her two sets of twins and their drippy ice cream cones in the back. Marilyn has been after Spud lately to get one of the new rocket propelled machines but he is old- fashioned, and refuses. Marilyn spends her spare time running a fashionable dress shop in downtown Dubois, the industrial center of the Northwest. Leslie Shoemaker is at her horse farm in Blue-grass Kentucky, down by the stable teaching her four kids how to shoe horses. She is getting ready to make a trip to Madison Square Garden where she and her Husband hope to take the All-Round Championships. Her hobby is skiing on the U.S. Olympic Team.
