Pnophecy Ten years seems to be a long time since we have graduated from the Dubois High School, and now that I, Mary Ellen Richardson, am a traveling business agent for Metro Golden Mayer Studios in California, I have had the oppor- tunity to see all my old classmates once again. While in Colorado I found Jim Mockler to have a very lucrative business in Vet Science and had graduated from Colorado A M in 1961 with outstand- ing honors. My job takes me many places for different reasons and last month I was looking for movie personnel, when, who should I run into but Naida Michel. She has married a very prosperous rancher and is raising a nice small family of three sets of quadruplets while doing secretarial work on the side. My greatest surprise was seeing Jay Peterson at Madison Square Gardens riding in the rodeo. While visiting with him I found that he was still breaking horses in Dubois in order to pay for his ranch and support his wife and four little rodeo clowns. Also while in New York I happened to see a big neon sign pointing to Finley Accounting Office Branches in San Francisco, Salt Lake, and Dubois. It seems that he acquired his wealth and good business practices from his wife. He is now trying to write a peace treaty with her so he can get into their beautiful 25 room penthouse apartment. I see Shirley Tassitsie quite often as I pass through Washington D.C. Where she is working as an R.N. in one of the largest hospitals in the U.S. She has recently been elected to the presidency of the American Nurses Association. Then I received an urgent call to be on location in Miami. After a hurried business meeting, I found myself window shopping and someone tapped me on the shoulder. Turning around I hardly believed my eyes for there stood Bobby Pate, who was out exercising her little French Poodle. We had dinner together and I learned that she owned and operates the Salon Bobett, specializing in the latest French styles. It seems that Bobby is looking for her sixth husband. My business completed, I started back to the office in California, feeling enlightened that I had seen all of my old classmates, with the exception of Margie Pickett. When passing through Dubois, I stopped at the Rock Garden to have lunch and both Margie and I was so surprised to see one another she dropped the food tray and dishes. After cleaning up the mess, Margie and I had a wonderful visit, and I learned she is still trying to graduate from Dubois High School and in her spare time takes care of her six children while her husband works at a recently drilled oil well. Feeling elated at seeing all my classmates once again, I started the last part of my journey to California, looking forward to getting home and relaxing in my new small 500 foot swimming pool. 13
