JUNIORS Class History In the Freshman year there were five members of the class and Bonna Smith and Vonna Smith came back from California about the end of the year. At the time the class officers were President, Pete Presgrove; Vice-President, Bill Deshaw; Secretary-Treasurer, Katy Wingert. We had a very nice initiation that year. Our Sophomore year found only five of us. The only girl was Kitty Wingert. Keith Rhodes joined the class this year. Kitty dropped at the first of the second semester along with Bill Deshaw. At the last of the year, Gail Forrmey and Bonna and Vonna Smith joined the class almost at the end of the year. The officers were. President, Katy Wingert; Vice-President, Gene Larson; and Secretary-Treasurer, Pete Presgrove. Our Junior year, we found only four members of the class left, two boys and two girls. The class promoted a very good Junior Prom along with the usual Play and Banquet. The class officers were, President, Vonna Smith; Vice-President, Gene Larson; Secretary, Pete Presgrove; Treas- urer, Bonna Smith. We enjoyed this year very much, and hope very much that we can have as nice a one next year. We thank our advisor, Mr. Bauer for all his help. Vonna Smith Pete Presgrove Gene Larson Bonna Smith

SOPHOMORES Class History The sophomore class now numbers sixteen students and is comprised of nine boys and seven girls. During this year three students joined us. They were Jean Hereford, Darrell Landers and Goldie Clapp. Goldie Clapp was only with the class a short time, leaving us in December of 1954. The class officers are, Mary Ann Smith, President; Virginia Poole, Vice-President; Jay Peterson, Secretary; Tom Linsdau, Treasurer. The student council representatives were Gerry Linsdau and Margie Pickett. Mary Ellen Richardson was the home-coming attendant and Mary Ann Smith was the Junior Prom queen attendant. The sophomore class is very proud of the fact that fourteen of their class made the all school choir and five of the girls made the grade for the High School Girls’ Glee Club. The Sophomore class ended their year with a very interesting trip to the O. M. Finley Ranch up the East-Fork to observe cattle branding and they also engaged in a tour of the fossil beds northwest of the Finley Ranch. Mrs. Plomondon was advisor for the group.
