The time is the present. This was a comedy-mystery, full of thrills and action. Act one takes place on a Saturday evening. Act two, a few minutes later and Act three early the next morning. Roy Harrington is a young attorney, whose mother-in-law, Mrs. King, has never exactly approved of his marriage to her daughter, Arleen. Arleen goes to a First Aid lecture in the neighboring city, and induces Roy's friend. Dr. Bruce Douglas to spend the weekend with her husband. Roy,on his way back home from taking Arleen to the bus station,saves a mysterious East Indian girl from being run over by a train. When she becomes conscious she declares Roy is her master and she is his slave. Mrs. Kin- arrives to further complicate things and a would-be murderer kidnaps her in mistake for Shadow, the Hindo girl. Susan, the maid, also adds the fun and a sudden and surprising conclusion is brought about by no other person than Mrs. King, who is instrumental in tne capture of the criminal. 27
