imw MS)48e48S42M2MSHSi4S}3SMSMSM8D4SHS I Class History I «VSMRU5U9W9UKUKKXW9UXUSUSUS6' Does the year '1 9 and '50 bring back memories to you? Probably not unless you were one of the following ten little Freshmen that had just entered’High School. They were: Bob Stevens, Bob Beck, Bill Leseberg Armln Lind, Lewis Poole, Virginia Moss, Theresa Denney, Maxine Shaw Shirley Ann Sundstrom, and Shirley Wagner. Our class officers were President, Bob Beck; Secretary and Treasurer, Shirley Wagner; Student Council Representatives, Bob Beck and Virginia Moss. As Sophomores our year was gay and carefree. The class members were the same with the exception of Theresa Denney who had moved away, and Joe Peck who had enrolled. Officers were: President, Shirley Wagner; Secretary and Treasurer, Lewis Poole; Student Council Representatlv Bob Beck and Virginia Moss. Our Junior year was a merry go round with plenty of activities such as Junior and Senior Play, Junior and Senior Prom and Banquent, Basket- ball Banquent and many others. The theme of our Prom was Stardust , = with a huge quarter of a moon on the stage as the throne. The rest of the gym was decorated as a moonlit garden. Golly, weren't those dec- orations beautiful, though? Our Queen was Virginia Moss; her attendants were Shirley Wagner, Maxine Shaw, and Carol Smith. The Junior and Senior Play Tumblln Creek proved to be one of the best plays D. H. had ever produced. It was directed by Miss Donna Martlndale. Carol Smith and Clyde Kane were two new members of the class. The class officers were: President, Lewis Poole; Vice President, Clyde lane; Secretary and Treasurer, Bill Leseberg; Student Council Representatives, Bob Beck and Virginia Moss. Clyde Kane and Shirley Wagner were the two lucky Juniors to attend Boy's State and Girl's State. Finally the goal was reached, we were Seniors. Our last year was full of action and did we enjoy It? I'll say we did! Remember that Sneak Day? What a wonderful time we had at the Junior and Senior Prom and Banquent, thanks to our hosts, the Junior Class! Our play Me and My Shadow was an exciting mystery and a big success under t direction of Mr. Solon Coats, and Miss Maud Culllson. ; Our sports schedule was bulging with basketball games and tourna« | ments and we were all proud of our team for placing fourth in the tournament at Greybull. An added attraction at the basketball games was our Drum Corps formed this year by Miss Culllson, In which the three Senior girls were quite active, with Carol Smith and Shirley Wagner as twlrlers, and Inez Poulsen playing the bass drum. Class members were the same except for Lewis Poole who had Joined) j the Army and Audrey Goodrich who had married and moved away. Our officers were. President, Joe Peck; Secretary and Treasurer, Shirley! h Wagner; Student Council Representatives, Shirley Wagner and Joe Peok.i Our class flower was Lilacs, class colors, blue and white, and our class motto was Today's Youth Is Tomorrow's Hope. Spring came and with It, the closing of school. Reverend James Mack offlcated at the Baccalaureate Services and Mr. L. L. Newton was our Commencement Speaker. As the saying goes, All good things corae to an end Our High School Days were brought to an end. By Shirley Wagner thus muff Dubois Du Nolr Mercantile Meckem Chevrolet 10
