Probably not unless you were one of the following ten little Freshmen that had just entered’High School. They were: Bob Stevens, Bob Beck, Bill Leseberg Armln Lind, Lewis Poole, Virginia Moss, Theresa Denney, Maxine Shaw Shirley Ann Sundstrom, and Shirley Wagner. Our class officers were President, Bob Beck; Secretary and Treasurer, Shirley Wagner; Student Council Representatives, Bob Beck and Virginia Moss. As Sophomores our year was gay and carefree. The class members were the same with the exception of Theresa Denney who had moved away, and Joe Peck who had enrolled. Officers were: President, Shirley Wagner; Secretary and Treasurer, Lewis Poole; Student Council Representatlv Bob Beck and Virginia Moss. Our Junior year was a merry go round with plenty of activities such as Junior and Senior Play, Junior and Senior Prom and Banquent, Basket- ball Banquent and many others. The theme of our Prom was Stardust , _= with a huge quarter of a moon on the stage as the throne. The rest of the gym was decorated as a moonlit garden. Golly, weren't those dec- orations beautiful, though? Our Queen was Virginia Moss; her attendants were Shirley Wagner, Maxine Shaw, and Carol Smith. The Junior and Senior Play Tumblln Creek proved to be one of the best plays D. H. had ever produced. It was directed by Miss Donna Martlndale. Carol Smith and Clyde Kane were two new members of the class. The class officers were: President, Lewis Poole; Vice President, Clyde lane; Secretary and Treasurer, Bill Leseberg; Student Council Representatives, Bob Beck and Virginia Moss. Clyde Kane and Shirley Wagner were the two lucky Juniors to attend Boy's State and Girl's State. Finally the goal was reached, we were Seniors. Our last year was full of action and did we enjoy It? I'll say we did! Remember that Sneak Day? What a wonderful time we had at the Junior and Senior Prom and Banquent, thanks to our hosts, the Junior Class! Our play Me and My Shadow was an exciting mystery and a big success under t direction of Mr. Solon Coats, and Miss Maud Culllson. ; Our sports schedule was bulging with basketball games and tourna« | ments and we were all proud of our team for placing fourth in the tournament at Greybull. An added attraction at the basketball games was our Drum Corps formed this year by Miss Culllson, In which the three Senior girls were quite active, with Carol Smith and Shirley Wagner as twlrlers, and Inez Poulsen playing the bass drum. Class members were the same except for Lewis Poole who had Joined) j the Army and Audrey Goodrich who had married and moved away. Our officers were. President, Joe Peck; Secretary and Treasurer, Shirley! h Wagner; Student Council Representatives, Shirley Wagner and Joe Peok.i Our class flower was Lilacs, class colors, blue and white, and our class motto was Today's Youth Is Tomorrow's Hope. Spring came and with It, the closing of school. Reverend James Mack offlcated at the Baccalaureate Services and Mr. L. L. Newton was our Commencement Speaker. As the saying goes, All good things corae to an end Our High School Days were brought to an end. It Is ten years since we have battled together In dear old D.H.S. We find many changes have taken place, although some of our old classmates seem to still be In the old home town. We see Bob Beck Is now owner of a garage, but he probably got his 8tart at Meckem's Chevrolet Company, where he worked while a senior In high school. Well, Bob, you'll need the extra money to support Marietta and the five little Becks. We see Clyde Kane on one of his trips tp Jackson, where he spends most of his time. From the way he talks he Is still hoping to get a Jackson cowgirl, or does he still have a hanker- ing for a Dubois blonde! Bill Leseberg Is still driving around In his car, as It seems he doesn't do any work yet! Pat Is also sitting close to him, but now there Is a reason, since they have to make all the room they can for the kids ! Joe Peck Is working for Plckett'6, but he Is now foreman. I hear also that Margie is out of high school and college, so guess Joe might get hitched yet! Shirley Wagner now has another ring to match the one she had during her senior year. She Is living In Alaska, and busy listening to Bill tell her all about a Jet, of course she Is busy with Billy, Jr., too. It seems that Carol Smith finally made up her mind about which one of her four prospects she should marry. Maybe If she lives long enough she can give them all a chance! Inez Poulsen finally decided to go to college and now she Is happy because of her decision. After all, where would she have met the 6,b'• basketball player that made her change her name! Its odd, IsA't It -how time marches on! 14 Jims Market Standard Station Lander Fremont Motor Co BILL, LESEBERG President of Student Body-•53 Secretary of Junior olass-'52 Boxing-'50-'51 Business Manager of High Wind -'53 Annual Staff-'53 Dramatics-'$2-'53 CAROL SMITH Annual Queen-'53 Humor Editor of High Wind -'53 Pep Club Chairman-'53 Prom Queen Attendant-'52 Homecoming Queen Attendant-'53 Twlrler In Drum Corps-'53 President of D Club-'52-'53 Annual Staff-'53 Sect'y of Student Councll-'53 Dramatics-'52-'53 Pep Club-'52-'53 JUNIORS Carolyn Woodward Joe Alexander Jeannette Smith President, Albert Urbigklt Sdlth Henthorne Linda O'Neal T. -V y, Leon Woodward Henry Alhberg Jack Sundstrom Wyoming State Journal Chisholm1 s Jev'elry.Lander Temple Dru, Cc Riverton Lander Pportli, (iminmnTfflTnr SOPHOMORES Peggy Poulsen Jon Meckem Everett Hover Hal Goodrich Boyd Livingston Ralph Thayer Super Food Market Roves Radio Shop - Jk .
