To the Faculty, we want to give our appreciation and wish to thank one and all for helping us through the four years of struggle. I, Bobby Gilliland, will my height and ability to miss passes on the Basketball floor to Marvin Thompson, and my ability to be the first to Lunch everyday. I, Marjorie Beck, being of sound mind and body, solemnly will my ability to accelerate and to be graduated in three years to Armlnd jlnd in hopes that he can make it in half of the time. I, John Shipley, will my Riding Boots to Maxine Shaw in hopes they'll make her as much taller in intelligence as in physique and also, ray comb to all the girls in school so they'll have one because I won't be here to lend it to them next year. •I, Donna May, will my ability to get out of school to Lou Sievers; and to Peggy Nowlin, my ability to get a husband with a car so she won't have to ride on- the bus to out of town basketball games. I, Harold Wagner, leave my ability to get acquainted to out of town girls to Marvin Thompson so he can have more fun on Basket- ball trips. I also will Maxine Shaw about 60 lbs. of excess weight in hopes she will use it in the right places. I, Tad Henthorne, will No. 21 basketball suit to Bobby Stevens in hopes that it brings better luck to him than it did ne. I also will my big feet to Virginia Moss because I think she can handle them better than I ever could. I, Ralph Ahlberg, will my basketball trunks to Virginia Moss in hopes that she looks better in it then I. I also will my slender figure to Veta Jo. May it enable her to wiggle through as many tight spots as I have. Witnessed by; Signed: Date: May, 1950 CLASS PROPHECY The years have rolled slowly by since the graduation of '50. Our friends and classmates are scattered over the entire continent. As we gaze Into our crystal ball we find: Harold Wagner In the great big little town of Burris, still looking for his chance at a squaw. The former Marlene Young is In Newcastle playing serenades on the piano to her husband Doug Holwell. We left her looking for the lost chord. John Shipley is now the head of Auction Sales at Lander. We ■'’ind him waiting and wondering if Marjorie Beck will ever get out of Doane College. Yes, Marjorie Beck is still at Doane College (teaching), but Its too late John she has already found a Cornhusker. Since the good old days In Dubois, Bobby Gilliland has moved out on a ranch In Alabama. We Just left him slttln on a thorne Just to durn lazy to move over. Tad Hoppenstein Henthorne Is a Prof, of Physics in charge of research work on the Beetlebomb at Harvard University. We see Donna May slinging hash In one of the Ptomaine Factories In Dubois. It seems Hubby dear has been bucked off another horse. She Is still wondering If he'll ever give un bronc riding. We find Ralph Ahlberg settled down laboriously making a living at the Tie Camp for his wife,(formerly of Jackson) and four little Ahlbergs. Oh well, Ralph, you can't blame anyone but yourself. We told you to stay out of Jackson. Lou Sievers Class Vice Pres. '50 Pres. Pep Club '50 Student Coun.
