“iament We, the Senor Class of 1947, being of sound mind, we hope, hereby declare this to be absolutely our last well and testament. Any similarity to any other will or last testament, and any similarity to the members of the Class of 1947, liYing or in a state of coma, will be highly complementary, for we strive for individuality, although we reap the unpredictable. To the Faculty we give our appreciation for the efforts made in trying to wedge knowledge into our dense blooks of understanding. To the Board of Education we will our thanks for providing the oven in which our four year loaf has been baked into High School Bread. (Bred) To Mrs. Welty and Mr. Robertson we will a respite from out voraoious appetites and helter skelter habits. To the incoming Freshmen we bequeath the spaoe we have taken and hope that you not merely fill it, but use it to advantage. To the Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors we leave a multitude of unfinished tasks and trust that you may aooomplish muoh more than we have done. I, Jack Boedeker, do solemnly swear,(and howI) to will to all the coming generations, the gum I have parked on the under side of my desk. There will be plenty for the poor students who have been denied that privilege this year. I, Alioe Leseberg, do bequeath to Junie Hulett my slender figure, and may it enable her to wiggle out of as many tight spots as I have done. I, Dorothy Lou Meokem, do solemnly will my preoious freckles to Dorothy Taylor. May she use them as punctuation marks to enable her to stay on the Honor Roll. I, Phyllis Taylor, hereby bequeath my height and back seat to Marlene Young, that she might grow quietly in the shade and become taller in stature and in fame. I, Florence Grubb, do solemnly will my ability to grow tall to Donna Marie Meokem. May she be as tall in physique as in Intellect. I, Tommy Redman, do solemnly bequeath my Casanova complex to all the little fellows in the new Freshman Class — as though they didn't need it! I, Howard Shipley, do will and bequeath my lovely Western blue eyes of liquid fire to Tommy Ripley, - Just for a ohange, Tom. I, Gene Shipley, (Eugene to you) Do will all my little trinkets and gadgets to Billy Johnson to be used when teacher isn't looking. I, Kenneth Beyer, do solemnly will,(Yes, I can be solemn) my flaming top of alluring red, to John Shipley. Not that he will need it, but it must be left to someone. I, Rita Taylor, do hereby will and bequeath my little feet to Jim Shaw, providing that he will use them in place of his own olumsy mud hooks. Individually and oolleotively, we hereby will and bequeath all our alibis excuses, clever tricks, intelligence camouflage, witty wiseoracks, subtle phrases, and mlraoulous stamina, to all Seniors who might pass this way. Signed, published, and declared by the Senior Class of 1947 as their last will and testament. Witnessed by Superintendent H.W.Busby. THE CLASS OF 1947 A.D DUBOIS HIGH SCHOOL, DUBOIS, WYOMING.
