December Signs of Christmas were seen everywhere as the holidays grew near. Blackboards grew gay with winter scenes like the one pictured by jamie Compton and Carol Robbins. Mrs.Caraway's home was covered in wrapping paper as a group of senior girls met there for their annual Christmas party. The F. T. A. also had a party at her home. The annual staff presented its photographer, Dean Bradley, with a baby rattler in assembly.

-1-7 ln In the Christmas assembly at school we were entertained by talented students. The Sloppy Four with it's cornet player, Paul Read, were a tremendous hit. A group of freshman girls sang several selections, On Friday before school dismissed for the holidays the football jackets arrived.
