One of the best and most unselfishways a man can serve his community is by becoming a member of the school board. The position requires a great deal of thought and work and offers no pay. The board must meet often, and it has agreat deal of responsibility in regard to the educational program, especially the financing of our school. A large amount of the credit for our good schools belongs to them. For these rea- sons we give our thanks to these rnen, for the work they do for us.
