Second Row: Bob Bailey, Leslie Gates, Marion Frantz, Bob Thompson, Earl Jeffers, Charles Pinney, Keith Miller, Gary Termeer, Ben Delewese, Walter Myers, Mr. Diehl. Dublin's varsity basketball team paid back the other county teams for Dublin's losses in football. The Shamrocks' record was 13-3. Two of those losses being to Marion Franklin, Dublin's Co-Champ. Members of the championship team were: Bob Bailey, Walter Myers, Charles Pinney, Ben Delewese, Keith Miller, Gary Termeer, Marion Frantz, Les Gates, Earl Jeffers, and Bob Thompson. Dublin's new coach, Mr. Frank Diehl, was very much impressed by the team, and he is looking forward to next year. In the Tournament Championship game Dublin was the victor over Mifflin 41-39.
