The Dublin High School Band started the 1954-55 school year with forty-five members under the direction of Miss Kathryn Koch. The marching band played at all of the football games and provided much spirit for the homecoming bonfire pep rally. The band was under the leadership of Kaye Holder with Judy Thompson, Gwen Greenfield, Barbara Smith, Brenda Brown as majorettes, and Rosemary Yeager as mascot. The flag-bearers were Dianne Dodd and Marcy Miller. The concert band attended a county band clinic at Capital University and participated in the Franklin County Music Festival on March 24, 1955. A St. Patrick's Day Dance was sponsored as a project. The band gave its annual concert in April. The student director was Walter Myers. Compliments of DARBY SALES COMPANY, Rt. 33 at Avery Road
