The proceeds went to the Falcon Society ' s new weight room. The coaches played hard but in the end the clowns prevailed, proving that you never know who the real cIowtis are. In the top left hand corner, Mike Barron shows the frustration that missing a lay-up can bring. In the bottom left hand corner senior Gary Zulian lays down the law to some hot headed coach. The top picture on the right gives us an idea of our faculty members favorite pastime, and in the bottom right both teams of clowns are in action. On page 175 Dandy Don Newman, Tony Ortega and other faculty members are shown doin ' their thing. : EXIT STHKKT SIHIKS AI.I.OHKI) 175 • .m ■• iMm C  TADI lOLllJC IT C TADI lOUMCklT ECTAPI ICUMEMT ESTABLISHMENT 176 WHAT MOTIVATES THEM TO 60 ON, WHEN THEV SEE THEIR ffFORTS, GOING WRONG. I can ' t help but feel that this bit of advice should become a slogan for each one of us. Duarte High School could then become a greater high school if we all applied this say- ing to the classroom, the activity program and on the athletic field. To those of you who will return next year, I challenge you to join us in making this expres- sion become a reality. To the class of ' 75, our best wishes and hopefully you will apply this say- ing to your future careers. Dave Reiss, Principal Life is built on rules and restraints. If these rules cannot carry on into real life stu- dents will be doomed to disappointment and frustration. The prestige of education and most of all the individuals worth is endorsed here at Duarte High School. Everyone notwithstanding must adhere to the rules. Thomas A.
