SPRING 74-75 What good does this dum ' ol ' SRC do for Duarte High anyway? So they get elected, whoopee — Well some of the things this ' ol SRC does are to vote and decide how and what will be done to the student bodies $50,000.00 . . . when and who will play at concerts . . . who to get to be the officials for athletic events . . . when D-day will pop up . . . what will go on Homecoming week . . . they are representatives of DHS to other schools . . . they decide how to raise more student body funds ... to organize the selling of ASB cards . . . they sacrifice their lunch time to meet in the SRC room at least once a week . . . they OK extra-curricular activities, club activities . . . and Christy Keefer and Alberta Jordan are student representatives on the School Board. These are just some of the things that this NOT so dumb ' ol SRC does! 167
