Wc tried something that had failed last year; haying an Editor-in-Chief. It failed again this year. I stepped down at the semester. We had reporters yelling at editors, editors yelling at each other and reporters and Mr. Peale yelling at everyone. And yet, somehow, we survived from week to week. And, when presented with the alternative of changing, we refused. Somehow we took a sadistic pleasure in leaving it to the last minute and then frantically throwing it all together. And you know, it really didn ' t turn out all that bad. We again lived up to our promise of not being just another high school newspaper, most of which are puppets of their administrations. While we had our rough spots, it was still, in the end, a labor of love. No group of people could go through yyhat we went through together without at least a dei-p mutual respect, and we had that and more. THE PROUD BIRO, huh? Not quite THE L.A.
