We realize that the success of our class activities would never have been possible without the support and guidance given by two very important people. Because we are indebted to you for your unfailing participation, interest and care we dedi- cate this l983 edition of Dusquanox to you, Miss Toni Amorosi and Mr. Charles Benson. These two people became our counselors in our senior year. They came to us when we needed organization, money and unity. In this length of time their enthusiasm and willingness made our class finally unify and function properly. They also made us realize what fun we could have with each other which ultimately made a great Senior year. We have found in them great friendship towards us as well as being fine advisors. We owe them so much for being the ones to give us a chance. We will always remember Miss Amorosi and Mr. Benson with all of our hearts and hope we, the class of '83 will live up to their expectationsll 'fm ..... M FOREIGH EXCHANGE STUDENTS wits Inger Pors Olsen, age I6, is from As- sens, Denmark and has been staying with the Vedder family. Inger became an exchange student through the Youth for Understanding program. Inger, now in Duanesburg. says she would miss Denmark if she knew she would never return to it, but is not homesick. She does miss her family, her dog Rumble, a few friends and her favorite sport, rowing, but she is en- joying her experience here in the Unit- ed States. Inger says that she is finding life in the United Satates very enjoyable, but it is just so different. Frederick Werner is Duanesburg's I6 year old exchange student from Mel- moe, Sweden. Through the help of the Harrison family, Frederick finds him- self living in a rural New York State rather than his souther Swedish home- town. Frederick says, l've always wanted to come to the United States and I like being an exchange student . Although he is only I6, Frederick has already graduated from high school in Sweden. He will attend a college or gymnasium when he returns. Frederick plans to attend a sailing college or pur- sue one of his greatest interests. Eva Marie Theresa Amrhein Best Program 4 Randall W.
