HIGH SCHOOL YEARS In the year of 1954 the dedication of our elementary school building was held. There was an assembly program in which the ele- mentary band played a few numbers. Many people visited and inspected the new build- ing, In the year of 1955 the Duanesburg Central High School held its Open House. KgN. YD In the year of 1953 a community party was given for Miss Van Schaick who had served our school for 25 years. She has been an excellent teacher and is now secondary su- pervisor. 353 HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR In the year of 1952 our class welcomed Mrs. Shannon to the school. She became our homeroom teacher for the four years of high school. She has been understanding and helpful in all we have attempted to do. We owe her a great deal. i852 QQ Q.

JUNIOR FAREWELL Dear Seniors, The Iunior Class is very sorry to see you leave school this year. However we feel that we have lost you as classmates but not as friends. We know we have had a lot of good times with you. We all like your yearbook and we know that you will have good luck in the future. H Yours truly, Charles Zubal Junior Class President SENIOR FAREWELL We are both sad and glad that we are now going to graduate. We are sad that we must now leave all our friends who have shared with us both the fun and the work of school. We are glad, however, that we have successfully reached the goal we set out for twelve years ago. While we have been in school there have been a great many changes. The last couple of years have seen the construction of a new school and a re- modeling of the old. The class of '56 sincerely hopes that the school where we have been prepared to go our separate ways will get bigger and better as the years go by. The Senior Class wishes to thank all the teachers and advisors who have tried their best to prepare us for our separate vocations. The very best of everything to everyone.
