T. H. S. From the first we gained the respect of the upper classmen by our alert intelligence and by the loyal support We gave the school. Our first step was to elect our oflicers-this was the result: President, Walter W. Clark. THE FLHSHLIGHT Then We had a tacky party and we did have a fine time. I Won- der Where some of those clothes came from? With these activities We wound up our Freshmen year at D. T. H. S.--but there was more to follow. ' . In our Sophomore year our oflicers were: President, Walter W. Clark. Vice-President, Dorothy Goddard. Secretary and Treasurer, Joe Meyers. This year we decided to have a Christmas party. Talk about a really large evening--we had it! A little later a kid party was given. QWe'll never forget Kayes' rompersj We began our third year with real pep! We were Juniors, we must realize our responsibility. We elected our officers as follows: President, Walter W. Clark. Vice-President, Karl Pflanz. Secretary-Treasurer, Joe Meyers. We ordered our class rings-are they good looking? We decided We had better get some cash aheadg so we sold Christmas cards. Our class play, And Home Came Ted, was said to be the best presented in old D. T. H. S. for some years. The success of our Junior-Senior banquet was unquestioned. Ask the Seniors about it? Did we have a good time at our prom? And'how! This ended our Junior year. WE ARE SENIORS! We immediately elected our oflicers. Again We put Walter at the wheel, the others Were: Vice-President, Karl Piianz. Secretary-Treasurer, Goldie Rhine. Sponsor, Miss Vaden Pope. Soon after this We had a picnic. We had a wonderful time--oh, what wieners! fWe'll never forget Mr. Ginther, his fire, and his flash-V light.J ' We picked out our entertainment course and put it over hundred per cent. About Christmas time we decided to sell holly wreaths. We made profit, but, oh, the fun we had selling them. Was.it cold? Next we took charge of Bassett's Revival Quartet, and gave the public something to talk about in the way of singing. Our'Senior play was characteristic of all our activities very much a success.
