Denney FPO' New York' NN' Electronics Material Officer Norfolk, Va, OE Division is comprised of Electronic Technicians and has the principle function of main- taining the ship's electronic equipment. Ltjg. Denney had an excellent crew working for him, headed by ETC Eaneuf. Principally due to the expertise of ETR2 Krob, ETR2 Grote, ETR2 Corbone and the other men, very few problems with electronics occurred. , Some of the men found gun line operations so interesting that they were able to findtime to stand watches in CIC. The remainder of the division worked long hours maintaining theradar, communications equipment, ECM and IFF. The fact that only two casrepts were filed attests to the excellence of tieir work. Everyone was gl-ad to get back home and some, including ETN3 Campion have their wearts set on going back to WestPac. . S L r
